Muusse says that she has indicated from the start that she will combine her role as a presenter with her role as an opinion maker and entrepreneur. “Unfortunately, this combination of activities is not possible within the conditions that are now set,” she writes.
This week, Muusse announced on Twitter to hold a ‘popular meeting’ in The Hague in response to the parliamentary debate on the failed formation reconnaissance. She asked her followers to let them know if they would come too. Whether that call is related to her departure is not clear.
29-year-old Muusse is the face of Coalitie-Y, a partnership of youth organizations, trade unions and the climate movement. Since mid-January, she has been presenting the Sunday edition of On 1.
