Pausini has had a busy six months and had to pay for it last night, she says. “I succumbed to the stress for a while, but I’m glad I was able to end the evening with my beloved colleagues Mika and Alessandro.”
Although her presentation did not go entirely smoothly, Pausini calls her presence as host of the Eurovision Song Contest “one of the most beautiful experiences of her life.”
