“Presenter Katrine Moholt and daughter Evelina talk about their close relationship and being soul mates”

Presenter Katrine Moholt (49) and her daughter Evelina Moholt are currently watching “Forræder”, where they checked in together.

Now mother and daughter open up about their close relationship, telling Dagbladet, among other things, that they are soul mates.

– She is a soul mate and a twin soul, I would say. It’s so nice to have mom in my life. We are so similar, and very different at the same time, we are also each other’s support system. We can talk about everything, Evelina smiles.

Katrine has such nice words to say about the relationship with her daughter.

– It is a gift to be so close to your child. We have always been that way. If we’ve gone on a girl’s trip to Copenhagen, or on a cabin trip together, or if we make Grandiosa at home, we’re all very well.

– Has Katrine been strict as a mother?

– Haha, no, I don’t want to say that. She has brought me up well, Evelina laughs and adds that her mother has been strict when she has had to be strict.

– I have probably been clear and honest, which I am also in life in general, adds the former “Shall we dance” presenter and participant.

Furthermore, mother and daughter can say that the relationship between them has not deteriorated at all since Evelina has become an adult.

– Now we raise each other, laughs the 23-year-old.

Katrine is probably best known to many as the presenter of a number of TV 2 programmes, including “Skal vi danse”, “Allsang på grensen” and “Jakten på kjærlien”.

Evelina has followed her mother’s footsteps into the entertainment industry. Already as an eight-year-old, she performed on various stages and took part in various productions.

The common interest has been important for mother and daughter.

– The fact that we do a lot of the same things means that we can also guide each other. I always ask Evelina for advice if there is something I should do, and the other way around.

– We have a lot of the same background, and it’s fun to have someone who has the same interests as me, concludes Katrine.
