The marriage of presenter Iveta Vítová ended with infidelity on the part of her husband Jaroslav Vít. Now the couple has been divorcing for a year and a half, but unfortunately it looks like the courts will drag on for some time. At the moment, the couple cannot agree on the care of their two children, Anetka and Matyáš.
The former Miss was with her husband for eleven long years and they paid for one of the most stable couples in Czech show business. She announced that their relationship was over on her 39th birthday last May. “Everything takes time, a lot of time, for you to find out that you’re actually the best like this and that he didn’t deserve you. It’s not worth being in a relationship in which there is no respect, no love,” she told the Blesk newspaper at the time.
The reason was infidelity – Jaroslav Vít was then looking at the daughter of the actor Vladimír Kratina Dominika, who also burned bridges and left her husband Jiří because of the affair.
“We’ve already had several stalls and unfortunately it looks like there will be many more. When two people can’t agree, the courts have to decide. At the moment, we mainly deal with childcare. This is always very sensitive,” admitted the presenter sadly to the Kafe.cz editorial staff.
I do not consider alternating care to be ideal
“The decisions about children are made by someone who tries to empathize and understand your situation, but does not know you, your children, does not live with you and does not know what kind of relationships you have in your family. By the fact that older children can tell each other how they would like to solve the situation, paradoxically, the situation can become even more complicated,” Iveta Vítová described her feelings.
“Courts like to award alternating custody lately, but I’m personally against it. A child is supposed to have one home, and backpacking children, whose parents don’t get along and have different parenting styles, in my opinion, can’t do well. In our case, fortunately, alternating care is not considered, even so it is very complicated, some appeals have already been filed and unfortunately it will take some time,” said Iveta Vítová sadly for Kafe.cz.
