The host of the television talk show “3nach9”, Giovanni di Lorenzo, has not missed a single program since he started hosting the show in 1989. Of course he was once sick, the journalist told the German Press Agency. But: “I like this show so much. And when you promise something, you keep your word.” So he dragged himself along, even when he wasn’t feeling well. And then the circus horse effect occurred every time. “When the headlights come on and the music plays, there’s so much adrenaline in your blood, you feel in great shape.” After the discussion, everything collapses again.
The Radio Bremen program was first shown on November 19, 1974 and is now the longest-running talk show on German television. The moderation team Giovanni di Lorenzo and Judith Rakers will be celebrating their 50th birthday next Friday (November 15th) with a live broadcast. The first “3nach9” presenter, Marianne Koch, is expected along with other guests. In 1974, together with Wolfgang Menge and Gert von Paczensky, she presented “Entertainment for Thinking Along” from Bremen for the first time.
