LAMBARENÉ, June 6 (AGP) – The governor of the province of Moyen-Ogooué, Abdul Razzak Guy Kambongo, proceeded, this Tuesday, June 6, to the delivery of a donation of impregnated mosquito nets sent by the Sylvia Bongo Ondimba Foundation for the Family (FSBO) to the populations of the departments of Ogooué and lakes and Abanga-Bigne, as well as the municipalities of Lambaréné and Ndjolé. He was assisted in this activity by the prefect of the Abanga-Bigne department, Rosine Loumby Mpika, and the provincial secretary general, Erille Bertille Roponat Etewa-Mbina.
This donation consists of several bundles of 50 impregnated mosquito nets. It is a question of fighting against the vector agent of malaria.
It was therefore the first administrative authority of Moyen-Ogooué, Abdul Razzak Guy Kambongo, who was responsible for restoring symbolically these effects to the 1st deputy mayor central of the municipality of Lambaréné, Armand Moulougui, representing the mayor prevented; to the prefect of the department of Abanga-Bigne, Rosine Loumby Mpika; as well as to the secretary general of the prefecture Mailène Mve-Ndong, representing the prefect of the department of Ogooué and prevented lakes.
These impregnated mosquito nets are primarily intended for pregnant women and new mothers, as well as vulnerable people.
Mission was given to the regional director of the health center, Doctor Julien Meyong-Bekale, to technically organize this distribution operation within the health centers and other dispensaries.
