– On Tuesday evening, the logo of the European Football Championship 2024 was presented in the Berlin Olympic Stadium. The draft should represent the diversity of football in Europe and in the 55 member countries of the umbrella organization Uefa.

The organizers of the 2024 European Football Championship want to advertise the tournament in Germany with a colorful logo. The oval brand symbol is inspired by the roof shape of the Berlin Olympic Stadium, where it was also presented on Tuesday evening. In the core of the logo you can see the trophy of the European championship. The draft should represent the diversity of football in Europe and in the 55 member countries of the umbrella organization Uefa. The EM motto “United by Football. United in the heart of Europe” had been known for a long time.

The ten German EM host cities also have their own logos for the tournament. The brand symbol shows the Brandenburg Gate for Berlin, the cathedral for Cologne, the Monument to the Battle of the Nations for Leipzig and the Frauenkirche for Munich.

The 17th European Football Championship is to be held in the summer of 2024 with 24 participating nations in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Düsseldorf, Leipzig and Stuttgart. The final draw is to take place in December 2023 in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the international media center will have its place in Leipzig.

The tournament will take place from June 14th to July 14th with 51 games. Concrete plans as to where important games such as the appearances of the German national team, the opening game or the final will be awarded have not yet been published. At the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the newly built Munich arena was awarded the contract for the kick-off, and the final took place in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
