In the evening we can throw two appointments into the round with a view of the next Apple product launches. According to current plans, the next Apple event will take place at the end of March and in the first week of April there will probably be the successor to the iPhone SE.
We get this information directly from the Apple environment and have no reason to doubt the reliability. According to this, the launch of a new device, which is almost certainly the expected successor to the iPhone SE, is planned for Friday, April 3. At the beginning of the previous week, the presentation should then take place at a press event, in all likelihood Tuesday, March 31st is scheduled for this.
Apple event next month?
Last year on March 25, Apple presented the range of services from Apple News +, Apple Card, Apple Arcade and Apple TV + under the heading “It’s show time”. The event fell on a Monday. The previous year, the manufacturer had invited for Tuesday, March 27, and presented new iPads as well as new editions of the iWork apps Pages, Keynote and Numbers. In 2017 there was no Apple event in spring.
iPhone 9: Apple’s new edition of the iPhone SE
We still have to wait, of course, but it is now almost certain that Apple will probably sell under the name “iPhone 9“Will launch a comparatively inexpensive iPhone model that relies on the design of the iPhone 8, but will be brought up to date in terms of processor and RAM.
Accompanying this, iOS 13.4 is expected in March. The update could then be released here immediately after the launch of the new iPhone model – i.e. on the evening of March 31st or possibly March 30th.
