Preschoolers have painted Valentine’s Day postcards for the elderly

During the Wednesday afternoon, about ten preschool children from Vallen’s preschool came to the Hatten meeting place in Skänninge to give their greetings to the visitors. There were surprised but very happy and concerned seniors who received a surprise just in time for the bingo game. And the kids were excited and excited with anticipation!
– I’m a little nervous to go in and give them my postcards. I’ve been like that all day, said one of the children from Vallen’s preschool before the distribution.

– It was nice to see when the children handed out greetings. The visitors and all of us were touched by the joy and meeting between the children and the visitors. It was lovely to see the little hugs too. Many of the people who visit our meeting places live by themselves and to be seen here and also receive a postcard means a lot, says Therese Granstam, unit manager for security hosts at meeting places and security accommodation.
