New Delhi: India’s Jasmine Lamboria and Shashi Chopra entered the pre-quarters of the Women’s World Boxing Championship. In the 60 kg category, Jasmin secured the pre-quarters by defeating Tanzanian player Nyambega Beatrice Ambrose in just 1 minute and 23 seconds. In the 63 kg category, Sashi defeated Mwangi Theresia of Kenya (5-0) and entered the pre-quarters. Meanwhile, Shruti Yadav lost in the 70 kg category.
