Preparing for Winter Air Attacks: Interview with Ukrainian Air Force Speaker Yuriy Ignat

Ukrainian Air Force speaker Yuriy Ignat believes that this winter will not be harder for us than the previous one, but air strikes cannot be avoided.

Yuriy Ignat assured that our air defense is incomparably more powerful than it was last winter, but the population of Ukraine must necessarily prepare for the missile terror of the Russian Federation. Downed drones and missile fragments can pose no less a danger to the life and health of people, which is important to remember and not ignore the air raid signal.

First, the Air Force speaker told how Ukraine is preparing for winter air attacks from Russia: “Our main tasks today are to strengthen air defense, to focus on not only active means of protection, but also passive ones (this is camouflage and strengthening of critical infrastructure facilities). Power engineers are engaged in passive protection of critical infrastructure. This includes equipping certain facilities with nets and additional obstacles to prevent damage to sensitive areas of these facilities.”

Then Yuriy Ignat called on Ukrainians to be vigilant and careful, and also explained how to prepare for the winter terror of the Russian Federation: “People, in turn, must also prepare. It’s more about preparing people, because you need to understand how to act at critical moments, have a clear action plan in case there are some damaged objects nearby and further, when a fire may occur. Always have with you the necessary things to evacuate assistance to victims“.

Earlier, Yuriy Ignat named an even greater threat than Russian missiles that awaits Ukrainians in the winter.

Meanwhile, Yuri Ignat said that the invaders can shoot down Storm Shadow and HIMARS missiles, but there is one point.

Let us remind you that Yuriy Ignat reported that Ukraine will receive a third Patriot division before the winter.
