Preparing for PT BPR Pasar Bhakti Liquidation and Deposit Insurance Claims: LPS Process and Timeline

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) is preparing the process for paying deposit insurance claims and carrying out the liquidation of PT BPR Pasar Bhakti Sidoarjo, East Java.

The process of paying customer deposit insurance claims and implementing bank liquidation was carried out after PT BPR Pasar Bhakti’s license was revoked by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on February 16 2024.

“To carry out payment of PT BPR Pasar Bhakti customer deposit insurance claims, LPS will ensure that customer deposits can be paid in accordance with applicable regulations,” said LPS Institution Secretary Dimas Yuliharto in Jakarta, Friday.

Dimas said that LPS will also reconcile and verify savings data and other information to determine the savings that will be paid.

The reconciliation and verification will be completed by LPS no later than 90 working days or until July 12 2024. Payment of customer funds will be carried out in stages over that period.

For bank debtors, you can still make installment payments or repay loans at the BPR Pasar Bhakti office by contacting the LPS Liquidation Team.

He appealed to customers to remain calm and not be provoked or provoked into doing things that could hamper the process of paying guarantee claims and bank liquidation.
