Dmitry Kuleba sounded the alarm during a meeting with his Western colleagues. He said the West should avoid being tied up in the bureaucracy in the event of a conflict.
“If Russia starts acting, you won’t have time physically to coordinate, through all the bureaucratic procedures, to coordinate decisions,” he said.
“So please do the preparatory work now, because if a military scenario happens, there will be no more time,” he urged his comrades from French and German , Jean-Yves Le Drian and Heiko Maas as quoted from Russia Today, Tuesday (16/11/2021).

The Ukrainian foreign minister insisted that Kiev, however, did not want to escalate the situation, but would defend itself if necessary.
Kuleba’s demand that Paris and Berlin begin military preparations coincided with claims by NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg, who said the organization had seen unusual troop concentrations on Ukraine’s border with Russia.
On the same day, the Ukrainian State Border Service, rebuked claims that Moscow troops were gathering there. A spokesman for the organization told Ukraine-24 TV that it did not register the movement of equipment or military from neighboring countries near the border.
“If there is action, it may be tens or even hundreds of kilometers from the national border,” according to the service.
