So far, Micro LED technology has only been used in industrial TVs, and we could only enjoy the conferences where Samsung exhibited its “The Wall”. The first Micro LED TV intended for the end customer is now on sale in the Czech Republic.
The Micro LED screen uses stand-alone LEDs similar to OLED technology. The difference is that they are inorganic. The entire screen consists of 25 million LEDs and the distance between them is 0.6 mm. They process colors at the 20-bit level. The panel consists of two physical subpanels and after assembly they must be calibrated.
The TV does not even have a name yet, or rather it is a model MNA110MS1ACXXH. It will be available in a single diagonal of 110 ″ with a body size of 242 × 136 centimeters. The resolution is “only” 4K and Samsung set the price at CZK 3,990,000. In the case of wall installation, this is enough, but if you would like a stand, you can buy it for CZK 21,990.
If you have a serious interest, it is not yet possible to just come to the store and take the TV. It is not physically available in the Czech Republic, but just contact Samsung via the infoline and you can book an appointment with the product manager.
