Preparations to promote dozens of Grade 21 officers

Web Desk: Preparations for promotion of more than half a dozen officers in Grade 21 to 22 have been completed by the federal government.
According to the sources of the Prime Minister’s House, the Prime Minister has decided to call a meeting of the High Power Selection Board soon.
The Establishment Division was directed to complete the preparations for the board meeting, where more than 18 posts for grades 21 to 22 will be reviewed.
Sources said that in the meeting, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon will be considered for promotion to grade 22.
The case of Secretary to Prime Minister Asadur Rehman Gilani will be presented for promotion in Grade 22, Secretary Power Division Rashid Mahmood is likely to be promoted in Grade 22.
Sources said that the chances of promotion to grade 22 of Secretary Education and Training Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani, Additional Secretary in charge of IT Mohammad Mahmood, Additional Secretary in charge of Petroleum Division Momin Agha, Chairman EOBI Khaqan Murtaza are bright.
In the meeting, consideration will be given to promote Chief Secretary Punjab Zahidakhtar Zaman, Iram Bukhari, Sajid Baloch, Jodat Ayaz, Nadeem Mehboob, Anbrin Raza, Usman Akhtar Bajwa, Mossadegh Ahmed Khan, Attaur Rehman to Grade 22.
Apart from this, the sources said that in the meeting, the possibility of promotion of Ahmed Makram, BA Nasir, Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, Ihsan Sadiq and Ghulam Rasool Zahid to grade 22 is also being shown.
