Preparations in Place: 20,700 Mosques and Eidgahs Ready for Eid al-Fitr Prayers in Makkah, Saudi Arabia

According to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, 20,700 mosques and Eidgahs have been prepared for Eid al-Fitr prayers in various provinces of Makkah Saudi.

6,000 people have been assigned to monitor mosques and places of prayer where Eid prayers are held. Maintenance and cleaning works have been completed.

In view of the heavy rush of Umrah pilgrims and believers, Eid prayers will be held in all the mosques around Masjid-ul-Haram in Makkah this year.

The ministry clarified that if Friday is a minor festival day, it is best to perform the Eid prayer and Jumuah prayer, and the statement that Jumuah prayer and Luhr prayer are not obligatory for those who perform the Eid prayer is wrong and it is against the tradition of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
