They decided to show the Russians in detail how the preparations for the filming of the film “Challenge” – the first motion picture in history to be filmed in space, on board the ISS, are proceeding. As a reminder, within the framework of this project, actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko will actually be sent to Earth orbitwhile movie stars are preparing for the flight, the same as that of the real conquerors of space.

And so the First Channel is going to broadcast reality about how this process is going – from casting for the main role to the end of classes at the Cosmonaut Training Center. Volumes of instructions, grueling workouts, fitting a spacesuit, centrifuge tests, tests in emergency situations – everything that filled the life of filmmakers who only yesterday dreamed of flying to the stars.

In addition, Roscosmos specialists will tell the audience about the tests of domestic equipment and the cosmonaut training system. The TV project will be aired on Channel One in September – on Sundays.

We add that, according to the plot of the film “Challenge”, the girl-specialist due to dramatic circumstances is forced to prepare for a flight into space in a month and go to the ISS to solve an important task. This time, filmmakers will not have to simulate a flight into space – the actress will truly leave Earth.
