AIronically, the Swiss Isabelle Meyer made sure that the St. Pölten women equalized against Young Boys Bern.

The first of two friendlies played by the St. Pölten soccer team against YB Bern ended in a 1-1 draw. The Austrian series champions looked more dangerous offensively, but conceded the 0:1 shortly after the break after the Swiss team successfully switched. Isabelle Meyer, the Swiss in SKN dress, equalized from the penalty spot (73rd). Compatriot Ella Touon, who joined the St. Pöltnerinnen in the summer, made a good impression on the left flank.

The ladies from Bern have settled in St. Pölten and will meet the SKN again on Sunday morning – but not on artificial turf in the Lower Austrian sports centre, but on the ASV Spratzern facility (kick-off: 11 a.m.). The Future Team and the U16 girls will also come to their performances as part of the event.
