Harold Pinter is a 20th-century drama classic who won the 2005 Nobel Prize in Literature for “opening the abyss behind everyday conversations in his plays and opening the door to locked spaces of consciousness.”

According to the creators of the production, the play “Treason” is Harold Pinter’s most popular work, which tells about a seemingly classic love triangle – Emma, her husband and her husband’s friend.

“Harold Pinters elevates the notion of” betrayal “to a much more complex and ambiguous level. To betray another person is always to betray oneself, and it brings with it both disappointment in oneself and others, dislike and anger – for what has been done and what has not been done. All three characters of the play feel lonely in the relationship and try to find the “I” lost in the daily routine, “the creators of the show report.
