Composer Raimonds Pauls told about the program: “The new program“ Summer Moods ”was created in the first months of this year. I invited my friend Jānis Peter to write a poem about the summer solstice, the time of Midsummer, about celebrating our holiday. He made great poems, which, among other things, are full of humor and irony, all I had to do was create appropriate music. The premiere of the song is the ensemble of actors “Drama”, who are my old friends from a young age! (laughs) These are songs to listen to on Midsummer’s Eve, but as people will fall in love with them over time, it’s hard to say right now – listen to the concert! ”
