The authors of the play, Henry Louis, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shield, after the success of “The show that melts in the butter”, have created another box office blockbuster, which will have its premiere at the Daile Theater today, January 19. Daile Theater in cooperation with “Mischief Worldwide Ltd.” presents “Peter Pan Melts in Butter” by The Mischief Theatre. Aiming not to fail completely, Cornelia Polytechnic’s drama group returns to the Great Hall stage again, this time in a family-friendly production about a boy who didn’t want to grow up. The actors already loved by the audience, who investigated a murder in Haversham Manor in “The Show That Melts in Butter” and, let’s be honest, completely melted everything, have now created a new show. In the heat of the battle between the legendary Peter Pan and his nemesis Captain Hook, everything may fall apart again, but the love between Wendy and Peter will be as real as in a fairy tale.

This is already the second performance at Dailes Theater, which was created in close cooperation with “The Mischief Theatre”. At the beginning of 2022, the adaptation of “The Play That Goes Wrong” was staged, which is still one of the most popular plays of the Daile Theater. Well, the Daile Theater will show an exact adaptation of the original play “Peter Pan Goes Wrong” (which has been successfully played in London’s West End for several seasons). The play is staged in Daile by Fred Gray, the director of The Mischief Theatre, who, together with his team and our actors, works carefully to accurately implement the many technical tricks and elements of classic slapstick or farcical comedy on stage.

Cast: Gints Andžans, Andris Bulis, Dainis Gaidelis, Gints Gravelis, Marta Lovisa Jančevska, Anete Krasovska, Klāvs Kristaps Koshins, Niklāvs Kurpnieks, Kristīne Nevarauska, Artis Robežnieks, Lauris Subatnieks, Madara Viļčukas.
