Tonight the program Look at me, what I never told you on TVN, a journalistic space that seeks to confront points of view about Chilean landmarks, was premiered. In this case, the protagonists were the father of Daniel Zamudio, young gay man murdered in San Borja park by four subjects, and Fabián Mora, one of the convicts who is on probation.
This is how the journalist Paulina de Allende-Salazar put together the versions of the two people, who at the end had a confrontation in the place where that tragedy occurred.
One of the situations exposed by the convicted person, who spent four years in prison, which generated the greatest surprise was when he stated that he was not present at the time of the beating of Zamudio, since, according to his statements, he left the place before.
However, at another point in the conversation, he indicated that: “The truth is that I hit his son with a combo, but it was because he ‘groped me.”
“I went to jail unfairly, I just hit him a combo, that was my crime. I did nothing else. They went, they told me ”. added.
For his part, Iván Zamudió observed and listened to the young man’s statements, indicating that “I needed time to digest everything he was saying.”
“You are a very dumb goat, a kind of ‘Espinita’ (character from Japenning con Ja). You got involved with some assholes that damaged your life. That’s what you have to clean ”, express.
The confrontation between the two ended without words of forgiveness or repentance on the part of Mora, who was clearly shocked by being in front of Daniel Zamudio’s father after eight years of the crime.
It should be noted that Mora was conditionally released in 2016, in a measure that was widely criticized by the Zamudio family and society in general. The young man, who was 19 years old at the time of the attack, was the youngest of the group.
