It is a comedy show composed of four pieces, preceded by four presentations. On Sunday, October 22, at 6 p.m.

On Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 6 p.m., at the Teatro Salón Cervantes, the TIA, Teatro Independiente Alcalaíno, will premiere “EL COMPLUTUM IMAGINADO”, its new production. The plot of the four imagined comedies takes place in the Roman city of Complutum, and they take the details from Roman history and culture to merge everything into a fun fiction rooted in Complutense culture.

The latter are written and performed by Andrea Salamanca. As for the works, “SAGACIA” and “ARCARIA” are written by José María de Pro and “HIPPOLITUS” and “LÆTITIA”, by Luis Alonso.

The plot of the four imagined comedies takes place in the Roman city of Complutum, and they take the details from Roman history and culture to achieve the appropriate environment in which to dilute some of the things that are known about our city, and merge everything with a fun fiction that is thus rooted in the Complutense culture, of which its stones still speak to us.

It is not the first time that TIA approaches the Roman world:

AVE, COMPLUTUM! (1999) by Carlos Mochales, or ¡ERASE EN COMPLUTUM! (2002), a puppet show written by Carlos Mochales, Luis Alonso and José María de Pro. In this way, the Roman city of Alcalá continues to serve as a source of inspiration for the Complutense theater itself, this time by TIA, which turned forty-two. four years last August.

Only for €6 per location.
