Première Classe, the show dedicated to fashion accessories will be held in the Tuileries Gardens from March 3 to 6, in parallel with Paris Women’s Fashion Week. Orchestrated by the Who’s Next teams, this show, which gives pride of place to emerging designers this season, is one of the unmissable fashion events in the French capital.

On the program for the March edition: 400 brands, including more than 50 young labels (less than three years old), for a total of 26% new labels. In total, the show provides 68% of international exhibitors.

“Since 1989, creation has been meeting at the Première Classe show, bringing together the entire accessories and ready-to-wear sector, relates Frédéric Maus, the general manager of the WSN group. Development. The great strength of this show is that here, established brands attract a large audience of buyers from all over the world, which benefits young creative brands, which thus do not remain in between. This synergy has virtuous effects on all players.”

Among the new nuggets highlighted by the show, Weinsanto, the eponymous label of designer Victor Weinsanto from Souffelweyersheim (Bas-Rhin), which received the “Emerging Talent” fashion award from the City of Paris last September for his festive and burlesque creations, inspired by the world of the night and the locker room of drag queens such as Paloma and “La Grande Dame”.

Highlighting emerging creation

Jewellery, leather goods, shoes… Première Classe offers a showcase for established accessories designers and newcomers such as the high jewelery designer Ann Ong, the French Aszpak Paris and its customizable bags or the label brazilian Room and its padded sandals oversize.

On the ready-to-wear side, contemporary designers such as Florent Coltesse and his essentials made in Paris, and brands such as Cherry Massia, a wardrobe mixing influences sportswear and undressed silhouettes founded in Seville in 2018 by Irene R. Massia, or even By Tati are entering the show.

This last brand, bitten by neo-punk style knits, was founded in April 2022 by Tatjana Haupt. Winner of the “Eyes on Talents X Première Classe” prize created two years ago to honor “creativity, innovation and fashion”, she will be able to exhibit her latest collection on a 6 square meter stand on the living room.

In addition, the Première Classe event welcomes the accessories and fashion winners of the 37th and 36th editions of the Hyères Festival such as Lola Mossino, Indra Eudaric, Sini Saavala, Joshua Cannone, Capucine Huguet and the Finnish designer Jenny Hytönen, who also exhibited her hybrid creations juggling between codes of BDSM and the softness of knitting at the Première Vision show in early February.

A spotlight on young designers with a strong proposal made possible thanks to the partnership between Première Classe and the Hyères International Fashion, Photography and Accessories Festival, a competition founded in 1986 led by Jean-Pierre Blanc and chaired by Pascal Mussard.
