Premier League teams can forget about making moves for the Bayern Munich forward

Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski has done more than enough in his football career.

He has shown what he can do wherever he goes, so moving to another league may not matter.

The 33-year-old forward seems happy to be with Bayern Munich, although rumors of a possible transfer to the Premier League have surfaced from time to time.

However, it appears Lewandowski has finally put a damper on that possibility after winning the Golden Boot.

“I don’t have to prove myself in another league,” Lewandowski said. “I can compete with the best of other leagues in the Champions League. ”

He has been linked to various English Premier League teams, notably Chelsea, which came after Erling Haaland’s pursuit of the Blues had a snag.

Lewandowski’s contract with Der FCB until 2023. Before the latest comments from the Polish striker, the Blues are ready to make an offer of around £ 50 million ($ 69 million) for him.

All of those plans may not have gone down the drain.

For now, he’s happy with his current team and it seems like all the transfer talks surrounding him will be forever. They remain as rumors. That is, unless something dramatic happens in the next few months.

“I am 100 percent focused on Bayern Munich, I don’t think about anything other than my team,” shared Lewandowski.

Although their deal is good until 2023, no contract extension talks have been held with Bayern Munich.

But after his recent statements, it seems that Der FCB does not need to rush as there is no serious interest in the Polish Forward.

The case is different for Haaland, he is set to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer, and various clubs are trying to get him on his side.

As mentioned in a previous post, teams interested in landing the 21-year-old forward include Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Manchester City.

Haaland will remain under contract with Der BVB until 2024.

Teams planning to seriously pursue Haaland will have to shell out £ 68 million ($ 93 million) next summer.
