Premier League registers eight new COVID infections

A new cut of tests PCR in the Premier League, resulted in eight cases positive of COVID-19 in the England competition.

This time it is about players, managers and staff of the Premier League, from different teams, whose identities were not disclosed by the league.

This cut of 2,518 was made on January 18 and 24, which has represented a considerable decrease with the 40 infections registered in the first week of January, and even with the 18 at the end of December.

So far, the English league has not announced the cancellation or postponement of any match of Matchday 20 that will start this Tuesday at 12:00 noon (Mexico time), with matches between Newcastle and Leeds United, and the Crystal Palace against West Ham United.
