Premier League Suffered a skull fracture last weekend
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul jimenez has been released from hospital and is now at home recuperating with his family after suffering a skull fracture during his side’s 2-0 win away at Arsenal last weekend.
This was confirmed by Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, who spoke to Sky Sports before his team went on to lose 4-0 against Liverpool.
“Raul [Jimenez] is back home,” Nuno confirmed.
“He is recovering. We are very pleased he is back home again. He’s improving and getting back to normality.”
The 29-year-old striker had been in hospital since last Sunday, when he was rushed to hospital after suffering a head-to-head collision with Arsenal defender David Luiz.
Jimenez was operated on and remained in hospital for observation until he was able to be transferred to his home, where he will begin his rehabilitation process.
To pay tribute to him, the Wolves players warmed up for the Liverpool match with shirts showing their support.
