The 32-year-old Villacher scored his first goal for his new club and prepared another goal, but Dallas lost 3-2 to the Senators in Ottawa.
Raffl put the guests in the lead in the 5th minute after a pass from Alexander Radulow, when Joe Pavelski (55th) scored 3-2, the winger also had his bat in the game. Match winner for Ottawa was Chris Tierney with two power play goals in the middle third.
