CONAKRY- Guinean clubs are making their debut in the CAF interclub cup and it was Milo FC of Kankan who kicked off this new season. Opposed to the Ghanaians of Dream FC this Saturday at the General Lansana Conté stadium in Nongo as part of the first leg match of the first preliminary round of the CAF Cup, the Guineans conceded a draw (1-1).
Picked cold after the visitors’ opener after half an hour of the match, the Kankan club was able to equalize at the very end of the match in the 82nd minute of play thanks to Mamady Bamba who narrowly avoided defeat at Milo. With this draw at home, Dream FC with this goal scored in Conakry, keeps a slight advantage but the Milo has not yet said its last word and will seek qualification in a week in Ghana.
