Ammon – Writing comes as a distinctive sign that has changed the face of history throughout the ages, as man began to record and document his events and ideas a long time ago. The beginning of writing dates back to about 3200 BC in Sumer. With the birth of Christ, the Gregorian calendar began to be used, as the year of his birth was considered to be the zero year in this calendar, and what was before that time is known as the prehistoric times.

Prehistory is that period before the discovery of writing around 3200 BC. It is divided into three main eras: the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, and the Iron Age. These designations reflect the materials that man used to make his tools and weapons during those periods.

The Stone Age: Man used stones to make his tools and weapons, and this era was divided into several periods, including the ancient and modern Stone Age, the Stone Age, and minerals.

Bronze Age: In this era, metals such as copper appeared and were used in the manufacture of tools and weapons. This era lasted until the ninth century BC.

Iron Age: Tools and weapons were made of iron, and this era continued until the advent of writing and the beginning of history. It is estimated that the beginning of this era was in the twelfth century BC.

These eras summarize the technical and cultural development of man throughout the ages, as he used local resources to meet his needs and develop his life.
