Pregnant women in Subang, West Java (West Java), Kurnaesih (39) died after being refused by the Ciereng Subang Hospital. The Subang Health Service apologized.
Reported detikjabar, Tuesday (7/3/2023), Kurnaesih passed away on Thursday (16/2/2023) night. Kurnaesih’s womb is 9 months old.
The family brought Kurnaesih to the Tanjungsiang Health Center. Because there was no change, Kurnaesih was taken to Ciereng Hospital.
Kurnaesih was received by the Emergency Room (ER). However, when he was about to enter the children’s polytechnic room to get an action, he was refused at Ciereng Hospital on the grounds that the hospital had not received a referral from the Tanjungsiang Health Center.
After being rejected by Ciereng Regional Hospital with a critical condition, Kurnaesih was taken by her husband, Juju, to a hospital in Bandung. Unfortunately, on the way, Kurnaesih died.
Head of Subang District Health Office dr. Maxi spoke up. Maxi said that his party had asked for clarification directly from the Subang Hospital regarding the case of the death of a mother who was about to give birth at Ciereng Hospital.
“Regarding the death of the mother and her baby in Tanjungsiang, I personally and on behalf of the Health Service express my deep condolences and concern. We also apologize for services to the community that have not been optimal and in line with people’s expectations,” he said.
