A pregnant woman, SH (31) was found dead in a septic tank in the Kampar area, Riau. Police confirmed the young woman’s child and husband had not been found.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Tapung Police, Iptu Lambok Hendriko, confirmed that the victim’s husband and three children had not yet been found.
“Last May, the victim’s husband was asked by his family where his wife was. But he replied that his wife had been missing since May 21,” said Iptu Lambok to detik.com, Wednesday (9/6/2021).
Since being declared missing, the victim’s family began to suspect. Moreover, the victim’s husband also said the child was staying at his grandmother’s house in Bangkinang, Kampar.
“Their 3 children, asked where and her husband also answered at his grandmother’s place. The suspicious family looked for it, but could not find it at his grandmother’s place,” said Lambok.

The suspicion grew stronger, the family started looking for victims around the house. During the search, there was a foul smell coming from the victim’s yard at KM 9 Garuda Sakti. The smell comes from the excavation in front of the house.

“From the suspicion, the family reported to us. We went down to the location, dug the hole in question and found the body, still wearing intact clothes,” he said.
Regarding the whereabouts of the victim’s husband, Limbok confirmed that her husband had not been found. Including three victims’ children after the victim’s body was evacuated to Bhayangkara Hospital.
“The husband and son have not been found, we are still investigating everything,” said Limbok.
It is known, Tuesday (8/6) at around 14.30 WIB, the discovery of a woman’s body caused a commotion among the residents of KM 9 Garuda Sakti. The body was found in a septic tank dug when it was evacuated by the Tapung Police Sector.
