Suara.com – A man of origin Australia, Stipe Lozina, was sentenced to three years in prison for assaulting a person Muslim woman who is pregnant in West Sydney.

Adapt ABC, Thursday (1/10/2020), the 43-year-old man’s action when he hit a woman named Rana Elasmar was caught on camera by the Parramatta cafe surveillance.

At the online trial today, Thursday (1/10/2020), Lozina repeatedly interfered with the sentencing process at the District Court of New South Wales.

He interrupted by displaying a video link and accusing someone of the Islamic faith like Elasmar of injuring his mother.

Judge Christopher Craigie warned Lozina that the link would be silenced if she continued.

“Thank you,” said Lozina before standing, turning off the light in the room and facing the door.

When told by the correctional officers the sentence would continue without him, he replied: “I don’t care.”

Judge Craigie went on to say Elasmar was terrified during the “essentially violent” attack.

“The attack has the potential to cause very serious injuries to both the victim and her unborn child,” Judge Craige said.

The aforementioned action also shook Elasmar’s perception of Australian tolerance towards Muslims making the judge sentenced Lozina to three years in prison.
