Although the composition of the next cabinet is still highly questionable, the Central Election Commission has already counted 100% of the protocols, and while political decisions are variable, in post-election mathematics things seem clearer in terms of seats.
It is already clear that “There is such a people” can nominate 65 deputies, the coalition of GERB and UDF will have 63 MPs, and the third force in the BSP parliament – with 36. “Democratic Bulgaria” will nominated 34 deputies, followed by the MRF with 29. “Stand up! Get out!” will have 13 deputies in the next National Assembly.
The race with the preferential vote – He reshuffle the lists when at least 7% of those who voted for the respective party have voted for a given candidate or a coalition. Thus, the first in the lists can be replaced by the last due to a large number of personal votes.
Most MPs elected by preferential vote will be in the GERB-UDF parliamentary group, while in the lists of the first political force – “There is such a people”, no preference has worked, that is, there are no shifts due to the number of personal votes. “Democratic Bulgaria” and “BSP for Bulgaria” will also nominate preferentially elected representatives in the 46th parliament.
MRF and “Stand up! Get out!” they will not have preferentially elected deputies. But it is curious that the leader in Sofia-district of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms Tsvetan Enchev has been replaced by Alexander Metodiev, known as Bath Sally, with 1289 preferences. On April 4, he also replaced the then leader, Ruslan Kolarov, but eventually resigned.

The case of the influencer Elisaveta Belobradova, known as The Flying Goat Erato. Tenth in the list of “Democratic Bulgaria”, with its 7805 personal votes, it became second and enters the parliament from the 23rd constituency in Sofia (from there DB is expected to score seven deputies), replacing the second in the list Antoaneta Tsoneva. For comparison, former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has 7,301 preferences (thus winning the leadership battle in Sofia’s 25th district). Tsoneva was also moved from third place by Georgi Ganev, who was fifth on the Democratic Bulgaria list for 23 MIR.
Another interesting case is that from Blagoevgrad the former GERB MP, former football referee and son of the mayor of Simitli Apostol Apostolov will enter the parliament again. From last in the list Stefan Apostolov ranks second with 6275 preferences. With this he replaced Biser Mihailov. His preferences are not enough to replace the leader Rosen Zhelyazkov, but they are enough to provide him with a seat from the Blagoevgrad region, which gives GERB-UDF 11 seats. Apostolov gained negative attention on social networks in 2018 with the difficult-to-read changes in the Law on Physical Education and Sports from the parliamentary rostrum. He then explained that he could read and that it was “human to confuse a word in a re-arranged reading in a committee, which he met for the first time.” On April 4, Stefan Apostolov was again last on the list, but then received a record 9,000 preferences and replaced its leader.
Former Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova was moved from the second place in the list of GERB-UDF in Sofia region by former MP Valentin Milushev. He is ahead of her with 2263 preferences. However, both will enter parliament.

Speaker of the 44th National Assembly and Member of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva now disagrees with the deputy seat, but not because of a shift in the lists of GERB-UDF, but because the mandate in Kardzhali goes for “There is such a people”. Karayancheva was the leader of the list there and does not appear in another. After counting all the votes, it turned out that this region will be represented by five elected officials – four from the MRF and one from the ITN.
In Sofia from the 24th district preferential vote sent as Democratic Bulgaria MP again former UDF leader Martin Dimitrov, who finished fourth with 4310 votes, replacing Tsetska Bachkova, and the pediatrician Dr. Tanya Andreeva – one of the most active in the campaign for a new children’s hospital, which from fifth to third with 3559 preferences.

With 2482 personal votes pulmonologist Dr. Alexander Simidchiev rearranges the second – Borislav Sandov in 25 districts of “Democratic Bulgaria”. However, it is assumed that Simidchiev will again be an MP from Sofia Region.
Former GERB-UDF rulers should nominate two MPs elected with preferences from Pazardzhik. These are the fourth on the list – former regional governor Stefan Mirev, who received 4,408 personal votes, and the third – former MP Dimitar Gechev with 2,728 votes. The two displaced the regional coordinator of GERB Naiden Shopov from the second place.
From Pleven the economist preferentially enters with 2330 personal votes Valeri Lachovski from GERB-UDF. From fourth he became second in the list. If the coalition has another mandate from there, the lawyer Alexander Nikolov will preferentially enter with 1763 votes.
From Plovdiv region preferentially elected MP with 2737 personal votes will be the municipal councilor from Asenovgrad Dimitar Yanev. The fifth, the 36-year-old tourism specialist, came in second, replacing Mladen Shishkov. However, the latter also enters parliament as a second-member MP in this parliament with significant preferences.
IN Sliven the latter became the first in the list of GERB-UDF. The former district governor Chavdar Bozhurski became an MP with 1610 preferences. If the former rulers broadcast second term from Pernik, it will not be for the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev, and for the last in the list, the pedagogue Hristina Georgieva, who received 1970 personal votes. And in the event of a second term for the coalition from Kyustendil and Lovech, these will be Dr. Alexander Parisov from Dupnitsa, who ranks second from the list with 2,088 personal votes, and Eng. Ivan Mihovski with 1,384 preferences.

From Veliko Tarnovo with 1809 personal votes as a member of the next parliament enters and Dimitar Nikolov. From third in the list of GERB-UDF he becomes second and ranks after the former Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov. The former chairman of the Municipal Council in Gorna Oryahovitsa can enter as an MP instead of his colleague Ventsislav Spirdonov, if Prof. Angelov chooses to enter the parliament from Veliko Tarnovo instead of Varna, where he is also the leader of the list.
Champion of preferences in Veliko Tarnovo is the leader of “There is such a people” prof. Andrey Chorbanov with nearly 3,500 personal votes. Last time, the director of the Department of Immunology at the Institute of Microbiology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences entered Sofia as an MP. And the personal vote for him now does not change his position in the list, as he is its leader in the old capital anyway.
From Varna preferentially elected MP of “Democratic Bulgaria” for the second time will be the lawyer Stella Nikolova. She was second in the list, but with 5628 personal votes she took second place before the orthopedist Dr. Ivaylo Mitkovski.
Preferences also shift the list of DB in Plovdiv-city, where the third – the respected mathematician and lecturer at Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” Ivaylo Staribratov with 1842 personal the voice replaces the second – the publisher Manol Peykov (1506). Most likely, however, both will be MPs, as leader Hristo Ivanov will choose to be an MP from Sofia, as he did after the April 4th elections.
IN The BSP for Bulgaria will probably have at least three deputies elected by preference, as the coalition will receive two seats each in Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo and Plovdiv region. These will be the current MP Todor Baichev, who with 1716 personal votes is ahead of the second in the list the mayor of Strazhitsa Rumen Pavlov-Pantera (fined by the court for conflict of interest after selling municipal property to a driver who resold it to his wife. however, it is unclear whether he will relinquish his seat in parliament). Pavlov with his 1393 preferences from the sixth place ranks behind the leader in the old capital, and the former MP Veska Nencheva. And she is second from the fourth because of 3108 preferences, ahead of Svetlozar Slavchev.
IN Pleven the eighth in the list of socialists Stefan Burdzhev replace the second – Ilian Yonchev.
If BSP have a second term in office 24th constituency in Sofia, he will be for Boris Tsvetkov, who with 1447 personal votes from the 16th became second to Lenko Petkanin. Tsvetkov was also elected preferentially in the previous parliament. If the BSP wins a second term in Blagoevgrad, the current MP Bogdan Botsev will win it with 2451 personal votes.
IN Burgas the second Zhecho Stankov takes nearly 300 more preferences than the leader Lyuben Dilov. He was the leader in personal votes on April 4, but then did not become an MP.
