Ukraine’s intelligence chief, Major General Kyrylo Budanov, says in an interview with British Sky News that he thinks the war will reach a turning point in August. Budanov says a process is underway to replace the leadership in Russia.

– Yes, it goes in that direction and it is impossible to stop it, Budanov claims.

The Saltivka district of Kharkiv has been shelled with artillery for several weeks. Many of the inhabitants have left their homes, but a few have chosen to stay.

– The turning point will take place in August

according to Sky News Budanov was right at the time of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

– The turning point will take place in the second half of August. Most active matches will be finished towards the end of the year, says Budanov.

He says Ukraine wants to renew power in all the territories it has lost, including the Donbass and Crimea.

– It will not be easy, but Ukraine will definitely win, he says.

Sky News journalist asks why Budanov is so sure of this:

– That’s my job. I need to know this. If I do not know this, then who? says Budanov.

– I am optimistic, he says in the interview.

About Putin: – Is very ill

Budanov claims to Sky News that Ukraine can confirm that the physical and mental health of the Russian president is in poor condition. There has been speculation in Putin’s health lately.

– He’s very sick. He has various diseases at the same time, one of them is cancer, he claims.

The rumors came, among other things, after Putin intensely grabbed a table then he had a meeting in April with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
