With the false information of “Yiannis Papadakis”, a businessman with unknown… other activities, he had traveled – according to the latest information revealed today by “To Vima tis Kyriaki” – at the beginning of 2020 with a C-130 transporter to Israel, the protagonist of the “Predator scandal ». As part of an official trip that a delegation of the Ministry of National Defense had made there.
The event is a sample of the various critical interfaces that malware administrators had. Otherwise, how can it be explained that they succeeded and “joined” the official Greek delegation, even using a pseudonym?
When in fact the destination was a country from which the illegal software originates (s.s.: through the suspicious action of its former secret service agents). Here it should be clarified that there is no evidence of any involvement of the then Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos in the case in question.
It should also be noted that persons who participated in that official mission with the military aircraft admit the presence of the specific central person of the wiretapping scandal and add that “Papadakis” in Israel moved privately.
The paradoxes
The above is another piece in the puzzle that is slowly being completed, after the revelation in the previous page of our newspaper regarding the participation of the protagonist of the Predator case in a trip of government and other service agents to the Middle East. For the record, and not only, it should be mentioned here that the trip in question took place on the two days of January 15-16, 2020 and was staffed by a Pentagon delegation. As it was pointed out in relevant official announcements that had been issued, it concerned the “close strategic relationship between the two countries and ways to strengthen and deepen it”.
However, the paradoxes with that mission do not stop there. And that’s because (after?) it seems that an attempt was made to erase the “traces” of the businessman who participated under the pseudonym and has been associated with the Predator. What happened; “Papadakis”, mentioned in the relevant passenger list, “disappeared” from those photos that were made public for this official visit and appeared in the background. An example of the significant background and absolute secrecy that covered that presence, about which there are many unanswered questions
The research
At the same time, an investigation into the wiretapping case seems to have been launched not only by the judicial authorities, but also by the Anti-Corruption Commission. Its subject, any suspicious declassification requests in the period 2020/2022 – this time not from the EYP, but (also) from the Information Management and Analysis Directorate (DIDAP) of the Hellenic Republic, which facilitated the same illegal telephone monitoring center . In fact, it is considered possible that the ADAE will carry out an extraordinary inspection at the offices of the said service.
It is noted that according to the reports of former DIDAP officers and executives, there was an attempt five years ago by the same protagonists of the wiretapping scandal to “intrude” on the operation of the EL.AS special service in question.
It was these later “Predator managers” who had suggested housing her in a building owned by a company of their friends! And all this while there is a delay in the effort to compare the list of 100 politicians, civil servants, businessmen, journalists and others with that of those monitored by the EYP. However, this is a process of vital importance in order to highlight the joint strategies of the state secret services and the “Predator circuit”.
However, while there was a decision three weeks ago for this comparison to be carried out by the ADAE (to which the EYP and EL.AS declassification requests are sent), an unexpected problem seems to have arisen. In particular, it seems that the ADAE had… returned to the judicial authorities a little earlier the document with the 100 people trapped in the illegal software, with the result that the comparison is now not possible. Citing the risk of leaking the document with the 100 “targets” of the Predator.
The lawsuit against Dimitriadis – Kontoleon
Finally, the content of the lawsuit recently filed by a female employee of the National Intelligence Service (NISS), which is directed against the former associate of the Prime Minister Grigoris Dimitriadis and the former commander of the NISS Panagiotis Kontoleontos for the entrapment, as stated in text, of her phone from Predator.
In fact, presenting a relevant document from the Personal Data Protection Authority, where it is confirmed that her mobile phone had been targeted by the said illegal software on November 23, 2021, with an SMS trap that mentioned the phrase “my girl, remember” and a fake website, allegedly of YouTube .
The plaintiff links her entrapment to her legal actions during that period at the expense of the EYP administration for her “adverse movement”. In her lawsuit, a number of facts and cases are listed which, according to her point of view, demonstrate that there was a single EYP and Predator monitoring center.
