Today, Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., the EHC Freiburg will meet the Kassel Huskies in the Echte Helden Arena. After the team of Peter Russell and Jack Hartigan had no encounters due to games that were already brought forward last weekend, the Huskies attracted attention with a 7-0 derby win against Frankfurt and a 4-1 win in Kaufbeuren.
In the table, the Hessians are tied with the Wolves in second place in the table. Only the goal difference, which is one goal better, distinguishes the two teams in terms of their yield.
These two teams faced each other on the second match day of the current season. The huskies were able to win their home game at that time with a very close 0: 1. The “Russell Gang” want to bring justice today!
Reinforcement from Schwenningen – The pack gets a new addition with a funding license
The wolf pack gets young reinforcements from the cooperation partner from the Penny DEL. With the 21-year-old Cedric Schiemenz, one of the Schwenninger Wild Wings players will be given a sponsorship license for the EHC Freiburg. The young striker is thus entitled to play for the Wild Wings in the Penny DEL and the Wolves in the DEL2 at the same time.
If all formalities have been met, center forward Schiemenz (21) will wear the Wolves’ jersey in today’s home game against the Kassel Huskies (7:30 p.m.). Schiemenz fills the gap for the injured Nikolas Linsenmaier, who sustained an upper body injury in the away game at the Bayreuth Tigers and will not be available to EHC Freiburg for at least two weeks.
You can of course follow the game in our live ticker !!!
