REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Case monkey pox or monkeypox (mpox) is currently widespread in Indonesia. As of Tuesday (31/10/2023), the Indonesian Ministry of Health revealed that there had been 29 confirmed cases of monkey pox in Indonesia.
Monkeypox is a disease caused by the Monkeypox virus. To prevent transmission of this disease, it is important to maintain cleanliness, avoid contact with animals that have the potential to carry the virus, and follow health instructions recommended by health authorities.
