Francis, as reported a few moments ago by the Vatican Press Office via Telegram, “went to the Church of St. Augustine in Rome, and stopped in prayer in the Chapel where the remains of the Saint are kept.”
Greetings to the Augustinian community
Another moment of pause, the post continues, took place “before the image of Our Lady of the Pilgrims,” then upon leaving the church the Pope “greeted the friars, nuns and pilgrims present and – the note concludes – then returned to the Vatican.”
