Minister of State Secretary (Minister of State Secretary) Pratikno dismissed the truth of the information regarding President Joko Widodo’s challenging statement (Jokowi) to Andi Widjajantothe person who is now a team player Ganjar-Mahfud Md. Pratikno believes that Jokowi has never shown arrogance.
Pratikno revealed this in his press statement via video which was shared with journalists, Tuesday (13/2/2024). Pratikno responded to Andi Widjajanto’s statement regarding Jokowi.
“Yes, I’ll come along podcastI follow podcast-and also the next statement which the President seemed to say was ‘can you beat me’ something like that like that. That’s not true at all. “Mr President is not the type of person who is arrogant,” said Pratikno.
It is known that Andi Widjajanto talked about his meeting with Jokowi on the Political Show Podcast CNN Indonesia. Andi revealed that he met Jokowi two days before Gibran’s declaration as vice presidential candidate. Pratikno denied that this meeting took place because, according to Pratikno, Jokowi was in Saudi Arabia at that time.
During the meeting, Andi revealed three things that Jokowi said. Namely related to Prabowo’s belief that he will win the presidential election, then PSI is certain to enter parliament, and PDIP’s votes are believed to fall.
Pratikno said Jokowi was always humble and patient. He then submitted his views on Jokowi to the public. Pratikno believes that the public also has a positive opinion regarding Jokowi.
“Mr. President is humble, patient, never arrogant and never condescending to others,” he said.
“Yes, that’s my assessment as someone under him. But more fair Just ask the Indonesian people whether Mr President is your type like that. Of course the answer is no. Mr. President is a humble, patient and polite type. So please don’t turn it around,” he said.
Andi Widjajanto is currently the Political Deputy 5.0 of the Ganjar-Mahfud Md National Winning Team for the 2024 Presidential Election. Previously, he was Governor of the National Defense Institute (Lemhannas).

While speaking on the Political Show Podcast video CNN Indonesia, as broadcast on YouTube, presenter Rivana Pratiwi stated that she received information that President Jokowi had summoned Andi and several people close to him. At that moment, Jokowi said that no one could beat Prabowo-Gibran. The meeting is said to have taken place two days before Gibran was announced as vice presidential candidate for presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto. Andi responded.
“Yes, I think (Jokowi said) Prabowo will definitely win, then PSI will enter parliament, then number three PDI Perjuangan votes will fall,” said Andi.
“That’s what Mr Jokowi stated. So there Mr Jokowi said, ‘You will be great if you can beat me’,” continued Andi.
