“Prāta Vētra” presents “Mītavas Cī!”

It’s no secret that the group “Prāta Vētra” has been engaged not only in music for years, but also makes “Mītava beer”, borrowed from the recipe book of the father of the group’s guitarist Jānis Jubalt. This year, the group is launching a wrap around legends “Mītavas Cī!”. Mitavnieks were surprised by a miracle – as a result of the rain of quinces, quince touched the pale beer and “Cī” is ready.
The identity message of the new beer was created by “Prāta Vētra” together with the team of AS “Cēsu alus”, while the new “Cī!” the packaging design was created by graphic designer Jānis Lauznis. The following message is on the label: “In ancient times, the men of Mītava were creative. Not because they were stronger or smarter – they simply loved beer, taught them to relax properly and look for new flavors for their own brewed and beloved beer! And they get! The new Mītava beer with a touch of quince!”

“Mītavnieki and their story is the group’s “free flight” in which they make fun of themselves and each other. The script of the story is written by Kaspars Roga, while the clip is directed by PapaChi. The advertisement was filmed in a scenic courtyard in Tukum at the end of last year, with the participation of all the participants of “Prāta Vētras” – Māris Mikhelsons in the role of the teacher, Renārs Kaupers and Kaspars Roga in the roles of gentlemen, and Jānis Jubalts in the role of the horse boy. On the other hand, the toon, who has already become a friend of the Mītavnieks, created in the workshop of the caring masters of the Latvian Puppet Theater, is embodied by the actor Miķelis Žideļūns. You will have the opportunity to meet the Mitavnieku cat, which is frozen in ice while catching quinces, at the International Ice Sculpture Festival in Jelgava from 2-4. for February.
