The Prask stock market today has roughly average liquidity and has weakened significantly.
European stock markets were in positive territory for the first half of the day in the wake of US data. At first, the development of inflation in the USA shook the market for a short time, but the Finnish mood then settled down to near-morning flat growth. American inflation as a whole showed a slowdown, which was not expected, but on the other hand, core inflation did not decrease and sleep, a little, sticks out its hands. That is why the initial growth reaction in particular did not dry out the market for long.
The five currency markets reacted strongly to the presented data, which contributed to the sharp weakening of the dollar.
The US markets were initially in a slightly positive mood regarding inflation during the day, but it is not at all certain whether they will last. Weak overall inflation growth indicates the imminent need for further increases in dollar rates. By not decreasing or even accelerating core inflation, it works in exactly the opposite direction.
The market with tension avoided the start of the results carousel for the 1Q year, which comes with the results of large US banks in the middle of the week.
Money markets reacted to the latest US inflation data very strongly, with a strong weakening of the dollar. The market thus made it clear that it is raising hopes for an end to the rise in dollar rates.
The koruna reacted to the US data with a strong message in both main currencies.
In response to the stronger weakening of the dollar, oil reacted with its own strong growth.
The reaction of gold is quite complicated.
BCPP is negatively affected today due to a slight correction on the EZ and the weakened Erste stock.
EZ thanks to the “Velikonon Nadlce” in the form of the promise of many extra dividends from the extraordinary full year rose for the previous 8 sessions (+11%) and took a rest today. Before Easter, Finance Minister Stanjura indicated that there could be a repeat of the incident when the Ministry of Finance proposed and enforced an external dividend against the original proposals of the board of directors. If the same scenario were to repeat itself and the market is small, which is likely, then the gross dividend could reach 100 percent of the ratio of the adjusted certain profit, which would correspond to approx. 146 K per gross share. These two theoretically relatively noticeable spaces for the title messenger.
