Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy resign from the board of directors of the promoter of NDTV | National | Deshabhimani

New Delhi > Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy have stepped down from the board of NDTV promoter group RRPR Holding Pvt. Adani’s games to gobble up the country’s leading media house were in the news earlier. Vishwapradhan Commercial Pvt Ltd of Adani Media Network Limited has acquired 99.5% stake in RRPR Holding Pvt Ltd, which owns 29.18% of NDTV. Then both resigned.

The board of RRPR Holding approved the appointment of Sudipta Bhattacharya, Sanjay Pugalia and Senthil Sinniah Chengalvarayan as directors.

Adani Group obtained full control of RRPL in August this year. Adani Group, which owns 29.18% of NDTV’s shares, has submitted an open offer to buy the additional 26% from other shareholders. According to the BSE website, Prannoy Roy is still the president of NDTV and Radhika Roy is the executive director.
