Pramudya/Yeremia Win, Indonesian Men’s Doubles Secure Gold

KOMPAS.com – Indonesian men’s doubles Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan managed to win in the badminton individual semifinals SEA Games 2021 Vietnam.

Pramudya/Yeremia won the victory when they met Singapore’s men’s doubles, Hee Yong Kai Terry/Loh Kean Hean, in the match which took place at Bac Giang Gymnasium, Vietnam, on Saturday (21/5/2022) afternoon WIB.

In this match, Pramudya/Jeremiah had to fight hard until rubber game to ensure victory over Hee Yong Kai Terry/Loh Kean Hean.

In fact, Pramudya / Jeremiah had lost the first game before rising and winning the second and third games.

Pramudya / Jeremiah won with a score of 15-21, 21-17, and 21-19 in a duration of 55 minutes.

Thanks to this victory, Pramudya/Yeremia has the right to advance to the final of the individual badminton event SEA Games 2021 Vietnam.

They also created the Red and White duel against fellow Indonesian representatives, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, in the men’s doubles final.

Leo/Daniel first advanced to the final after winning two straight games over the host’s representative, Do Tuan Duc/Pham Hong Nam.

The success of Pramudya/Yeremia and Leo/Daniel in reaching the final also made Indonesia certain to win a gold medal in the men’s doubles sector.

Pramudya/Yeremia and Leo/Daniel will duel to win the gold medal in the top party which is scheduled to take place on Sunday (22/5/2022).
