Prammer visits residue processing plant

LINZ. Linz City Councilor Prammer, who is responsible for waste management, visited Linz AG’s residue processing plant at Nebingerstraße 4 on site.

Thousands of tons of waste are collected every year by the waste disposal service in the city of Linz and put to good use. With rubbish collection, waste collection points, free collection of bulky waste and waste collection centers, Linz AG makes a comprehensive collection and disposal system available to all people in Linz. Approximately 190,000 tons of residual waste, commercial waste and bulky waste are processed for thermal recycling in the residual material processing plant (RABA). In this way, district heating can be generated for 11,000 households in Linz.

“An exciting and very impressive visit, which once again showed how much work and know-how is behind such a process. Special thanks go to the local employees, who do this work for the city of Linz every day,” emphasizes City Councilor Dietmar Prammer.
