“Prague stock market rises despite European dip in trading”

Today, macro data mainly focused on US inflation. It fell slightly, and of course there was speculation about the possibility of higher rates.

Prask stock market rose today. This was in contrast to other European parquets, which sink into the ground.

PX index up +0.42% today (1,389.99 p.). He is an obvious servant of the EZ, who influenced the positive sentiment in Prague and took the whole company with him to the BCPP. The return of the EZ investor was massive. The total consisted ofodes with EZ shares, including 75% of the total stock exchange. From my point of view, the bottom is clearly (May 11, 2023) the quarterly report and speculation on strong results and/or on the announcement of a high dividend. You can see our estimates here. Let me remind you that the dividend proposal does not have to be lost, but the quarterly presentation is an excellent preparation for the proposal for the distribution of profits.

Kofola closed in the positive, when its shares added +0.82% (CZK 246), Moneta (+0.52%, CZK 78) and Komern bank ended in the green at zero (+0.07%, CZK 689).

European actions through indexu STOXX Europe 600 not open. At the turn of the day, the high volatility of the US market was practically covered. Before the end of trading, the index is weak by 0.4%.
