“Few capital cities look so good; it is therefore no surprise that Prague was voted the third most beautiful city in the world in this year’s ranking,” writes Time Out magazine in its assessment. “But it’s not just about a pretty face. Visitors also get to know the increasing quality of life, which is illustrated by the number of galleries and museums, as well as high-quality and affordable restaurants.”

The magazine points out good accessibility by public transport. For peace and quiet, the people of Prague can go to Divoka Šárka, and they don’t even have to leave the city. For a visit, the international periodical recommends Náplavka, which was nominated for an architectural award. According to the magazine, the nearby Strelecky Island is also attractive for beautiful views.

The absolutely best city in the world is Edinburgh, which, according to the magazine, also belongs to the most beautiful that the planet has to offer in terms of architecture. Chicago is again the funnest place this year with lots of activities. After Prague, Marrakesh, Berlin, Montreal and Copenhagen round out the top ten.

Overall, however, the ranking of the best cities consists of 53 representatives, including Madrid, Mumbai, Porto, Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi, Auckland and Doha.
