About thirty professionals from Pinar del Río responded to the call from the Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca University to join the faculty of the higher education institution and contribute to the academic training of future graduates.
The careers of Technical Sciences and Law will receive the bulk of this force, the majority are graduates of the center itself and work in the productive and service spheres in different entities of the territory; Each of them carried out a categorization exercise to take on the challenge of teaching.
With the welcome to the institution, the doctor of sciences Yorki Mayor Hernández, rector of the same, wished them success in the difficult task of teaching and highlighted that the practice, although it is not new, has something new that, given the shortage of teachers For these specialties, it was the University, together with the political and administrative authorities of the territory, that called for incorporation.
In the act of formation of the contingent, held in front of the monument to the brothers Sergio and Luis Saíz; Yamilé Ramos Cordero, member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Party in the province, pointed out that this is true creative resistance, a solution was given to a problem without giving up the achievement of preserving the training of professionals in Pinar del Río.
