Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto gave praise to the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution in front of the Governor of North Sumatra (Gubsu) Edy Rahmayadi. The praise is related to the National Defending Youth (PBN) program which is considered able to overcome problems in northern Medan.
Reported detikSumatra, Bobby first explained that the PBN program could overcome problems such as brawls. The PBN program will provide training to youth in collaboration with the Medan District Military Command 02/01.
“I consider that this initiative is an extraordinary initiative,” Prabowo said in Medan Belawan, Medan, reported on Saturday (28/1/2023).
Gubsu Edy also attended the activity. Prabowo assessed that the program would help Indonesia in terms of defense.
“This is a creative thought and this will really help the national defense,” he said.
Furthermore, Prabowo views this program as being able to prevent young people from drugs and crime. He considered that PBN could lead the younger generation to a bright future.
