Prabowo’s nephew supports Ipda Rudy Soik to find the BBM Mafia case in the DPR

President Prabowo Subianto’s niece, Rahayu Saraswati attended the DPR III Commission (RDP) hearing discussing the impeachment polemic Ipda Rudy Soik after dismantling the fuel mafia in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

Rahayu Saraswati or Sara as he is commonly known is a member of the DPR who is the Vice Chairman of Commission VII. She is the daughter of Hashim Djojohadikusumo and the Chairperson of the National Anti-Trafficking Crime Network (TPPO).

At the meeting, Sara was present representing her group to defend Ipda Rudy Soik, who is currently on trial after being shot as a member of the National Police.

“However, I am present today not only as members of the DPR representing the people of Indonesia, but I am also present as the Chairman of the National Network against TPPO,” Rahayu said in a meeting Monday (28/10).

He revealed that the organization was a group he founded when he was a member of the DPR for the period 2014-2019. Sara said her group now has 30 members from individuals and across groups.

At that time, Sara emphasized that her presence was to protect Rudy, who was believed to have received irregular acts. He admitted that he had known Rudy for years as an anti-TPPO activist.

“I have known him for years. I started out as an activist against TPPO, before I became a member of the DPR,” said Sara.

Ipda Rudy Soik was dismissed from the police some time after he investigated the diesel subsidized fuel oil (BBM) mafia case in NTT. Rudy was dishonorably dismissed or PTDH as a result of several police reports and reports of other disciplinary violations handled by the NTT Regional Police.

Rudy has now lodged an appeal against the decision handed down at the National Code of Professional Ethics of the Police (KKEP) hearing on 10-11 October 2024.

“We received the appeal request submitted by Ipda Rudi Soik, and we (NTT Regional Police) will assist the appeal process,” said NTT Regional Police Public Relations Head, Police Commissioner Ariasandy in Kupang, Thursday (17 /10).
